The U5501 is a Dual-Band HSDPA/WCDMA and Quad-Band EDGE/GPRS/GSM module solution which
supports HSDPA 3.6Mbps for data transfer. In areas where HSDPA is not available, it still enable reliable and
secure data connection over UMTS at speed up to 384 Kbps or EDGE at speed up to 237 Kbps or GPRS at
speed up to 85.6 Kbps.

In areas where HSPA+ is not available, it still enable reliable and secure data connection over UMTS at speed up to 384 Kbps or EDGE at speed up to 237 Kbps or GPRS at speed up to 85.6 Kbps. Except used as a standard wireless modem through AT command, It offers Audio（optional）, SMS, MMS, Phonebook.
It is ideal for a wide range of products including Tablet, Gateway, Telematics, Tracking solution, Security solution and much more.
